Rare Angel’s skin coral carved putti pendant and earrings.

A exceptionally rare 19th century “angel skin coral” (Pink coral) pendant with matching earrings.This exquisite carved set has been carved with a putti with in a garland of roses and leaves.Carved in Naples, Italy around 1850-1870. In my opinion these pieces would of been part of a larger parure of carved coral possibly comprising of a necklace,brooch and tiara.A similar set is found in the British Museum which comprises all the pieces and the “daisy” flower carvings are identical to these three pieces on offer.
