Here we have a exceptionally beautiful diamond and onyx “bulls eye” ring. This ring has been hand made and in my opinion a genuine Art Deco Antique. Set with a exceptional centre diamond of exquisite colour and clarity within a eight sided octagon milgrain finished setting. Surrounding the centre stone are sixteen faceted tapered baguette cut onyx stones channel set in pairs and around them are twenty four old style brilliant cut diamonds pavé set following the octagon shape that makes up the setting. The gallery of the ring is a continuous row of open work scrolls, finishing off the ring is a size 5 ½ finger size knife edge shank.

In my opinion this ring embodies the epitome of Art Deco style, with its geometric look and timeless elegance. A true survivor of its era with no expense spared in its making.

Art deco is a sleek, glamorous design style that flourished internationally between 1919 and 1939. The style emerged in France before World War II as a modern reaction to the flowing organic lines of Art Nouveau.
