This navette shaped Victorian dress ring has been set with the most exceptional old mine cut diamonds.No expense was spared when sourcing and matching the quality and clarity of these stones as a collective.Think beyond today and step back 143 years to when and where these diamonds were sourced. Most likely from South Africa or India, and mined by hand using the most primitive equipment, then shipped to Europe for cutting. Matched perfectly in colour and clarity must of taken some doing, especially in 1880.

Centre stone being bezel set, and all others pave‘ set with outer claws/ prongs. The shank having engraved scroll work towards the top adjoining the setting.

Diamond sizes are approximate as to calculated formula.

Centre stone: 0.86 carats.

Outer stones: ( 2 x 0.09 carats) (14 x 0.07 carats) (2 x 0.04 carats) (2 x 0.005 carats)
