Antique pair of carved jade panels depicting a bird and peony amongst foliage. Found loose in a old box of jewellery I recreated a classic design of diamond clusters and turquoise to compliment the jade panels. Turquoise and jade is a unusual colour combination but strikingly beautiful.( Meaning on the jade panels-The peony is a symbol of wealth and prosperity and considered to be one of the most beautiful flowers in China, and the Oriole bird represents joy and friendship when depicted in pictures.)
