Material: Sterling silver and Guilloche enamel.

Rare Richard Hensley guilloche enamel sterling Peacock brooch/pin. Depicting a Peacock fanning its feathers in a central circle with in a open work rectangular enamelled frame. Richard Hensley (1870-1930’s Montreal) produced mostly souvenir teaspoons and pins. Using only silver and guilloche enamel his souvenirs were renown for quality.Most souvenirs of the time were created of base metals and lacked the quality of Richard Hensley. His works have become increasingly collectable and hard to find. 
This brooch depicting a Peacock is rare- most of his works depicted were for souvenirs of city’s, towns or Canadian related scenes and designs.
