Antique Chinese export silver cocktail shaker by renowned maker Wang Hing

A truly spectacular hand chased Chinese export silver cocktail shaker. Hallmarked for Wang Hing circa 1900. The shaker has been deep chased with a tree trunk and trailing branches of prunus flowers that encircle the shaker. Perched in a branch is a magnificently detailed sparrow with open wings and another one in flight, Monogramed in the cartouche are the initials H.S. and the background has been hand stippled giving the effect of orange peel. The shaker is in pristine condition with out any visible dents or scratches.
